We don’t need to impose our own ideas on others. On the contrary, it is easier to achieve the consensus of our communication goals by thinking about the Dharma. Sometimes the results of things are not as we imagined or expected, we are also helpless, and feel aggrieved, but if we understand from the other side’s perspective. Only then can you see clearly why the other party did it, the idea is like this. So we will not feel helpless. Therefore, understanding empathy is a high EQ course. It is very important to maintain harmony between people and to deal with people.

Empathy is not only important in dealing with the world, but also in business negotiations. Ancient China has long known the importance of thinking about problems from the perspective of the other side, knowing oneself and the enemy, and fighting forever. Every business negotiation is a battle of interests, and the opponents of the negotiation are very different. In the face of various negotiators with high numbers, the only way to win is to know the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses, the opponent’s position, interests and needs. Only then can control their own initiative in the negotiation. In short, in the negotiation process, if you know how to stand from the other party’s perspective, grasp the other party’s psychology and needs, you can negotiate effectively and achieve your goals.
